Even Twitter API will be revamped and it will offer one of most advanced data sets in world, and latest updates.
On February 13, 2023, Twitter will introduce a new, low-cost basic access offering use of a low-level API, and full access to Ads API for a $100 monthly fee.
“This basic access will replace our previous access levels (Essential, Elevated, and Academic Research). We will provide instructions on how to subscribe to basic access via our website on Monday.” Twitter said.
For limited free access, As twitter believes this is critical to developer ecosystem, Twitter will also be introducing a new form of free write access to Twitter API which is limited to Tweeting to 1,500 Tweets per month for one authenticated user token, as well as including free access to Sign in with Twitter.
If User is currently on free tier and wants to take advantage of new limited free access, User does not need to do anything – User will be automatically switched to new free access on February 13th.
On February 13, Twitter will also discontinue Premium API access. If User subscribes to Premium, you can apply for Enterprise access here to continue using this endpoint.
