In this case, this cooperation has been established since 2019 with a land area of 250 hectares, then increased to 500 hectares in 2020, and then in 2021 an area of 1,000 hectares.
“What we saw earlier is a sign that we in Indonesia have extraordinary resources, so that God willing, we can achieve food security, especially in DKI Jakarta,” he said.
According to him, collaboration between DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and Cilacap Regency Government will continue to develop, so that people of Jakarta do not have to worry about availability of rice supplies.
Meanwhile, Cilacap Regent Tatto Suwarto Pamuji said cooperation would be a challenge for Gapoktan and motivate farmers in Cilacap Regency to be active in farming.
“What happens if farmers strike, farmers don’t want to anymore. Well, those spirits motivate Cilacap Regency to become a national granary,” he said.
