News, CILACAP.INFO – 2 Fishermen are lost at long beach, mertasinga, North Cilacap sub-district. Monday (09/16/2019) around 12:16 WIB.
According to Coordinator of Basarnas Pos Sar Cilacap Mulwahyono, incident occurred when 3 fishermen in one boat were going home from fishing.
“But when they got to beach arch, their boat was hit by waves. This incident caused two fishermen to disappear and are still in search, while 1 other passenger survived,” Mul said.
Furthermore, Mulwahyono explained that two missing Fishermen were related. Namely named Seno (28), a resident of Jalan Tupai RT 03 RW 14, Mertasinga Village, North Cilacap District.
“The other 1 missing was Maryono (40), a resident of Brebeg Village RT 04 RW 06, Jeruklegi District, Cilacap Regency,” Mulwahyono said.
Known, BMKG Cilacap has given a circular about potential of high waves in southern waters of Java (Cilacap, Kebumen, Purworejo, Jogja).
In its release Saturday 14 September 2019 morning, BMKG Cilacap stated that. The potential for high waves is 4 to 6 meters.
BMKG has also warned people and residents who live on coast and fishermen to be careful and do not go to sea starting from Saturday 14 to Tuesday 17 September 2019.
