This chapter opens with a view of Hokage Monument. Boruto sits with an interviewer for a television show. She repeatedly reminded Boruto not to be too humble about himself. After all, it was due to Boruto intelligence that village had minimum damage. He saved village once again.
Boruto nervously tries to deny it, and replies that it not like that: In fact, he almost fainted… Then, interviewer asked Boruto about amazing jutsu that helped take down notorious Ōtsutsuki, there were plenty of witnesses who could prove his ibutions as well. Boruto became a little uncomfortable with interviewer question line. He had a bit of an internal monologue, secretly hoping this was over soon.
The scene shifts to medical room: Sumire, Amado, and Katasuke gathered around Kawaki bed. Amado who was smoking while checking Kawaki new right arm, which he thought there should be no problem with it.
Amado asked about how Kawaki was feeling (physically) lately. What on his mind for past week? Kawaki looked at his new right hand and simply replied, “Nothing in particular.”
He also noted that his hands appeared to be in same condition as before. Katasuke adjusted his glasses to get a better look at Kawaki hand, and said that he was surprised that he didn’t expect his arm to recover to such a state so quickly. Moreover, there was no sign of Kawaki body rejecting him.
Amado: “Of course … After all, this is something completely made from his own biological cells. It was one of spare parts I made before. Before coming to Konoha. Boruto tried to wave back, but he immediately noticed Karma in palm of his hand. Boruto then uses his other hand to push his arm down. Suddenly, Kawaki appeared behind Boruto with different ends of Naruto hair.
Kawaki said that being a celebrity seems a hassle. Boruto replied that it wasn’t something to tease him. Kawaki seems a little taken aback by Boruto: He thinks Boruto will feel more about things. Boruto asks if he talking about ‘Karma’, since he been discussing it for quite a while now and doesn’t know concretely what to do about it. Kawaki suggested that they sift through all information gathered about it so far.
Kawaki: “Looks like our bodies have entered 80% through the” Ōtsutsuki ‘transformation. But in your particular case … You are in a predicament where Ōtsutsuki ‘Data’ is continuously being decompressed from ‘Karma’ even at this moment. And when ‘Decompression’ process is complete … That when your role as “Momoshiki Container” is finished. The person we know as Boruto is leaving. Shikamaru notes meant he had to do something about Code. That way, they could hold off on having to think about how to handle Jūbi itself for a bit. Amado reminds them that they have to be careful. They better take Code seriously and not underestimate it.
Amado: “Code is different from others. It because of him – ‘Special’ -.
The scene shifts to a very ornate cave architectural front door. A man with a long beard and glasses wearing a fluffy robe was placed at entrance as watchdog. There were other guards with him, but he was wearing a mask over his nose and mouth.
Code is still trudging through snow, shivering and crossing his arms over his chest to try and stay warm. One of guards started yelling at Code, asking if he knew what place this was. Code replies that this is founding of Boro religious organization, and he happens to be an acquaintance of Boro: Can they let him in for a moment? The bearded guard informs him that Boro is currently not around, so Code must return home. Code says that they must be idiots.
Code then puts his arm down beside him, and we see that his fingers have turned into long claws, not fingers. Code was frustrated to have this gatekeeper on his way when weather was so cold in this remote area. The bearded man yells back at Code to stop there – This will be his last warning to do so.
Code: “Very well then. I think this will be end of your life.”
The scene shifts back to Kawaki and Boruto conversation. Boruto asks Kawaki what he means by Jigen ‘Baptism’. Kawaki replies that it is like what he mentioned earlier, namely from moment he was brought to ‘Kara’.
Kawaki: “The people who become Vessels for Ōtsutsuki undergo selection ritual. Many children are carved with Karma. The ‘Unfit’ children suffer seizures, and die one by one. When it was my turn, there were only two people left. I was engraved with ‘Karma’, and didn’t die from it. So, I survived. It because I was “compatible” with it. ”

They had been modified by Scientific Ninja Tool to have a large hole blasting in place of usual right arm. They started shooting at Code.
Code then crossed his arms in a slicing motion and activated several long studded belts. Six of these belts pierced ground in two groups of three, and then crossed under two gatekeepers. Code jumped high into air to avoid their explosion, but then suddenly disappeared.
The two guards wonder what a black belt is.? A ripple occurred near gatekeeper, and then Code suddenly appeared behind bearded man. His partner warned him to look back, but it was too late. Code just stabbed him through heart from behind.
Code then pulled his hand from inside bearded man body. The other gatekeepers tried to shoot at Code, but Code casually moved bodies of dead in front of explosion as human shields. Suddenly, a biack-studded material appeared on masked man chest.
Before masked man could fight back, Code claws had also pierced his chest. We then see panel revealing Code kneeling on ground – He has stabbed his right hand into ground and into black belt.
Code: “Thank you for all your hard work and effort during this cold weather. Now you will have a comfortable rest.” The masked man begged Code to stop, but Code continued to push his hands deeper into man chest, up to his knuckles. The final gatekeeper dies, and Code returns his hands to normal. She casually warmed her hands to warm them back up.
Code: Ah well, it gets nice and warm for a little while when it active. “But after all, it cold so he better get in right away. Code is now standing at ornate, front door of building.
The scene switches back to Amado, Shikamaru, and Naruto.

The scene switches back to Kawaki and Boruto, who are still sitting at Hokage Monument. Boruto stares at his palm, wondering about scratching others with ‘Karma! He never even thought about it until now. But either way, he still felt like he couldn’t do it.
Kawaki noted that they would become Ōtsutsuki. In that case, they will be able to use their skills and jutsu as well, not just Jikukan Ninjutsu for example. Likewise, it would logically follow to use this aspect of Karma as well.
Boruto then asks Kawaki – Doesn’t Code already have ‘Karma’? Can they embed it differently?

The scene again returns to inside of building.
There was an old man with partially missing teeth who was also wearing a winter hat with earflaps. He touched small monitor. Code addressed him as ‘Bug’. The old man asked if it really was Code itself, and what was point of being here. He starts asking if Code is here for Jigen needs. Code replied that Jigen was dead, and maybe Boro too.
Bug wants to know what going on, but Code brushes it off by simply saying that things are busy these days.
Code: “By way, I was wondering if Ada is alright?”
(Note that name Bagu will most likely be romanized to ‘Bug’, and Eida name will probably become ” Yes’, as they have received references to computer terminology that may have inspired their naming scheme.)
The man starts to look nervous, and asks Code what he talking about. Code calmly replied that Jigen had ordered many cyborgs to be thrown away. So, Boro should have secretly kept a few of them here. Maybe he wants it to be a truff card, but Code still doesn’t know for what purpose. Code asks him to lead way.
The man said that he had absolutely no intention of going against Code. Is Boro dead? Maybe Code lied to him? Code only stared back at him, but that was all it took.
(Well, Code seems to be able to pay.) He then takes Code to another room, where large capsule is located. It has a long tube that protrudes from it and connects to ceiling. Once again, man wondered what Code would like to do.
Code goes to pod – It has a circular window. He looked at woman inside. Her eyes are closed. He had long black hair that formed a circle past his waist. She wears a long-sleeved top that is thin and light. She appears to be wearing leggings under a bubble skirt decorated with space-themed fabrics. There are simple stars, planets, and crescent moons on it.
Code: “Yo Found it. You’re one who knows, everything about this world.”
